I was recently selected as a term member to the Council on Foreign Relations! She is looking forward to participating in these high-level dialogues on foreign policy and international relations particularly on issues relating to national security.

Founded in 1921, CFR is a leading foreign policy organization independent, nonpartisan membership organization, think tank, and publisher that serves as a resource for those who seek to better understand the world and the foreign policy choices facing the United States and other countries. Its 5,000 members include many of the most prominent leaders in international affairs who come together to engage in nonpartisan conversation on the most salient policy and governance issues of the day. The institution’s ranks include top government officials, scholars, lawyers, nonprofit professionals, journalists, educators, religious leaders, and business executives.

Before becoming President and CEO of DRI International, I served as Executive Director during which time I led DRI to a record number of Certified Professionals with a 42% increase and oversaw the launch of a number of valuable initiatives including the DRI Online Library, the Collegiate Conference Program, the DRI Webinar Program, the Future Vision Committee, a risk management training and certification program, the launch of DRI’s premier organizational certification, and the most substantive revision of DRI’s core training program in the history of the organization.

I am a regular Forbes contributor, has authored numerous articles, appeared on Bloomberg TV, MSNBC and Fox, and has served as an expert source for The Associated Press, USA Today, LA Times, Conde Nast Traveler, ABC News, and more. I have presented at dozens of events across four continents and conducted on-site briefings for government officials, government bodies including the European Commission and international organizations as well as for visiting delegations. I am a Rockefeller 100 Resilient Cities Subject Matter Advisor and served as an editor for the 2017 version of The Professional Practices for Business Continuity Management, and the coordinator for the first International Glossary for Resilience. I am also an adjunct professor at New York University, a US-Japan Foundation 2018-19 Leadership Program Delegate, and a French-American Foundation 2019-20 Young Leader.
