Futurized: Disaster Risk Management

I am interviewed by futurist Trond Arne Undheim. We talk about what risk management is all about, how executives can handle disasters, and map out some of the needed vocabulary to start understanding risk in a systemic way.

In this conversation, which is a precursor to an upcoming deep dive into risk and resilience in the next decade, they talk about what risk management is all about, how executives can handle disasters, and map out some of the needed vocabulary to start understanding risk in a systemic way.

The takeaway is that in order to fully prepare for the next decade, there is really no way around developing a systematic take on risk and resilience. There is so much to know but a first step is to be aware of the organizations and frameworks that exist to help executives map their risk and start developing approaches that might work no matter what happens to their organizational assets in a crisis.
