It was so inspiring to participate and speak at the Ethical Tech Summit, hosted by Microsoft Research NYC, NYU SPS Center for Global Affairs, and the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance!
💡The summit brought together remarkable leaders in ethical innovation and AI, exploring how technology can drive social impact. We discussed many critical issues like human trafficking and combating deepfakes in the metaverse while promoting ethical use of generative AI.💡
🚒 My session explored how emerging advanced technologies like AI and blockchain can revolutionize disaster management by enhancing data analysis, transparency, and operational efficiency. I highlighted use cases like predictive analytics for disaster response, blockchain-driven fraud prevention in relief efforts, and the ethical considerations of deploying these technologies in crisis scenarios. The discussion underscored the importance of balancing innovation with inclusivity, privacy, and cybersecurity to maximize their impact in safeguarding communities. 🚒
